TAABA Picnic June 10
Join our sister Toledo Area American Baptist Association churches on June 10, 2012 as we hold our annual picnic at Side Cut Metropark in Maumee. Our meal will be served at 2:00 pm. Bring your favorite dish to pass (vegetable or salad dish preferred) and meat will be furnished by TAABA. There are activities for all ages! For your comfort, bring your own lawn chair and table to eat on. We'll have a church triathlon as we enjoy fellowship and food. Don't miss the fun! This is a great opportunity to build relationships among all of our local association churches. Plan now to be a part!
Church Growth Workshop Report
TAABA sponsored a special Church Growth Workshop at St. Paul's Missionary Church on April 14, 2012 Rev. Jane Gibbons was our workshop leader. The basis was the research of Rev. Dr. George Bullard, from the Columbia Partnership. He has discovered that there are about 25 factors that are needed in the life of the church for it to be healthy and have a vibrant future. They are factors related to the church's vision from God, how it manages its ministry, empowers and helps it's members to grow as disciples and do good ministry, manages its finances and other resources and more. TAABA at the Mud Hens July 23
